"After decades of brotherhood, touring the world and making great records together, we have decided to no longer continue on as a band. Above all, we want to express our sincere gratitude to every single one of you who have supported us.
We could not have done any of it without you. Love Always, The Mighty Mighty BossToneS"

It was confirmed today by the Slam Dunk organisers that the groups split is with immediate effect and that they will no longer be performing at the festival later this year. (Source)

The Mighty Might Bosstones have been around since 1983 and are known for their tracks such as 'The Impression That I Get' , 'The Rascal King' and 'Someday I Suppose' to name a few. The group also only released their last album 'When God Was Great' in 2021.

An official reason for the bands split has not yet been announced by the band, but some fans believe it is most likely due to Dicky Barret's Anti-Vaxxer beliefs, but as we say nothing official has been released.
