Ukrainian metal juggernauts JINJER unleash their brand new single “Rogue”, showing once more their refusal to conform to the musical genre rule book. Generating millions of streams/views on platforms worldwide, JINJER have perfected and fine tuned their own unique sound to perfection and are in a league completely their own.

The ferocity of vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk combined with a sonic rollercoaster of chugging riffs, pulverizing bass lines and intricate drums makes JINJER’s upcoming outputs some of the most anticipated in heavy music! “Rogue” is another raging reminder that JINJER never minces words when it comes to their music and always keep the pressure on with each new release. The song arrives with a hefty music video, and is now available on all streaming services worldwide!

JINJER's comment on "Rogue":

“Our new single ‘Rogue’ is a reaction to many things… it’s brutally honest, it’s in-your-face and one of the most intense tracks JINJER has ever released. We are so excited about this new track, about the new album and everything that‘s on the way…”

Over the past 15 years, JINJER has attained remarkable milestones, touring globally and captivating millions at prestigious festivals. They’ve headlined sold-out shows across Europe and North America, and have thrilled audiences in destinations like Dubai, Philippines, Türkiye, Japan and South Africa. As they continue their journey this year, JINJER is set to make a major impact on the music scene. The relentlessly hard-working outfit will kick off a headline tour across North America, followed by supporting Sepultura in Europe, and conclude their tour with a headline run through Latin America.

Through their relentless hard work, non-stop touring and critically acclaimed, chart-breaking releases gaining millions of streams/views across all platforms globally, JINJER are truly one of modern metal's hottest and most exciting bands around today. The band has become synonymous with doing things their own way and breaking every rule in the heavy metal handbook - which they proved loud and clear on their hugely successful fourth studio album, Wallflowers. The four-piece progressive groove metal wrecking machine known as JINJER have carved their very own place in the metal landscape. JINJER was formed in 2009, but consider the official start of the band to have happened with the addition of incredible vocalist Tatiana Shmayluk in 2010.

Novacaine Rating: 10/10!

This was the first time I'd listened to JINJER and, let me tell you, clicking the Youtube link to find myself being grabbed by the scruff of the neck by a sensationally powerful female vocalist just about made my night!

From the get-go, Tatiana lets you know who's in charge in 'Rogue', and drags you down a hallway of gruelling vocals, complex riffs and looming lyrics that I recommend listening to several times over to truly let the message sink in. This group clearly don't plan on sticking to the frame, and each release is getting heavier and hotter.

I spent the next half hour working my way through as much as their content as I could get my little gremlin hands on, only to fall deeper and deeper down a rabbit hole. Every song was a spectacular demonstration of Tatiana's range buffeted masterfully by the work of Roman, Eugene and Vlad. 'I Speak Astronomy' in particular was a unique listen and watch, with elements of epic fantasy seeping between the cracks in the metal.

Also, a big hand to Tima Kasatkin for the remarkable work on the music video - the grungy aesthetics, symbolism and switch-ups between shaky-cam and still shots gave 'Rogue' the lovely, chaotic little bow to tie an incredible package together.

I'm going to be gnawing at the bars of my enclosure waiting for more teasers for their upcoming album, and if this is the peek behind the curtain we're given, then slap my arse and call me Dorothy, because JINJER are the Wizard!
