Southampton Metalcore Act, Parting With Origin, dropped their new single "Thirst" on April 15th, 2025.

"Thirst" is the second single to be released by the UK outfit this year, showcasing their new brand of modern contemporary, yet technical and heavy metalcore as seen at Bloodstock Festival last summer.

The band told us about the new single:

"'Thirst' is a song that is comprised of a single main subject; Sin.

With the sub-context hinting at both Lust and Wrath, it's a reflection of how our own desires can lead us down a less desired, even Dangerous path.

Even though at first glance the lyrics may simply give that impression of intimate desire, looking more closely can bring to light the more violent connotations this can lead to; abuse, control, involuntary surrender"
