THE FULLBUG NEW ALBUM 'IN THE RED' REVIEW

Writer's picture: Scott O'SheaScott O'Shea

Israeli Hard Rock act, The Fullbug, released their brand new album 'In The Red' on 5th February 2022.

The Fullbug, formally known as Project Revival is an Israeli hard rock trio comprised of members Lavy (Vocals, guitars), Nadav (Guitars) and Jessi (Drums) and despite believing that that they're not able to make at least one good rock song, the trio have released their brand new album 'In The Red' and by doing so have proven themselves wrong.

The Album 'In The Red'

In The Red only features 6 tracks, but each track hits you hard...like a rock. (heh)

They've absolutely smashed it writing this album, dragging in influences from the likes of Van Halen, Guns 'n' Roses, Aerosmith and Black Sabbath, mixing it all together with their love of southern rock to create a hard hitting, ear pounding album.

You can definitely hear all of these influences shining through, with a Van Halen like catchy beat, electrifying GnR guitars, a Steven Tyler style lyrics mixing with the sounds of Axl Rose, the bass & drums of Sabbath, it all ties together to create awesomeness. With all that being said, the Fullbug gives me real Alice in Chains vibes, like they've mixed together with someone like Godsmack, and I absolutely love it.

My favourite track from the album so far has to be 'All Black', simply because it kicks ass and if it weren't for the fact I'm writing this review, I'd probably be making myself look silly jumpin' about, but the neighbours definitely got to hear it too, the album got played on full blast!

These guys really do have the potential to stand out from the rest and deserve the love from the hard-rock community.

The Final Score

the Fullbug, I've definitely got it! These guys are contagious and I'm super excited for their future releases!

The Rating: 9/10💀
