IMPERIUM SET TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE & DEBUT ALBUM THIS MONTH.

UK thrash outfit IMPERIUM will release their new single Tread The Serpent on Friday 10th July. The track features Tony Dolan of Venom Inc and arrives alongside a lyric video on the same day. It’s taken from their debut album Exodus Unknown, due Friday 17th July via Heavy Metal Records.

Built in the UK underground, IMPERIUM first made noise in 2022 with their debut EP before winning London’s Metal 2 the Masses and earning a slot at Bloodstock Open Air. That appearance marked the start of a steady rise through the UK live circuit, driven by relentless gigging and growing word-of-mouth momentum. Since then, the band have sharpened their identity on stage: tight, aggressive, and ready for impact — sharing bills with established names and carving out a space in the modern UK thrash landscape.

Now signed to Heavy Metal Records, IMPERIUM recorded Exodus Unknown with producer Oz Craggs at Hidden Track Studios. The album’s lead single Exodus Unknown previously received support from Kerrang! and Primordial Radio, helping build early momentum around the record ahead of its release. Speaking on the album, the band said: “We’re taking the next natural step, pushing harder while staying true to who we are. This record drives IMPERIUM forward.”

Recent UK shows alongside Venom Inc proved a major moment for the band, with a run of high-energy performances that reinforced their growing reputation on the live circuit. With a new single, debut album, and a packed summer schedule, IMPERIUM head into release season with everything in motion.
