WHO ON EARTH - NEW ALBUM, IT TAKES THE VILLAGE
US hard rock/metal torchbearers Who On Earth will release their second album, 'It Takes The Village', on 8th May. Extending a potent partnership with producer Mike Orlando (Adrenaline Mob, Category 7), who also helmed their well-received 2022 debut, 'Blame', the new record includes a brand new single entitled ‘Shadows'

Built on thunderous grooves, dual guitar harmonies and an arena-ready chorus, ‘Shadows' delivers both nostalgia and urgency in equal measure, channelling the spirit of classic metal while reinforcing the band’s sharp lyrical perspective.
‘It Takes The Village’ displays Who On Earth’s diversity, featuring hard-driven, solid-metal tracks, some groove metal and a theatrical acoustic tune. Among three bonus songs is the band’s 2025 single ‘Jane' STREAM | VIDEO (a Jefferson Starship cover) and a techno version of a song from their 2023 debut album, ‘Blame’.
"The concept behind the title 'It Takes the Village' is centred around the forces that are impacting the everyday person,” explains bassist Pete Rizzi. "The combination of inflation, fake news, corporate greed, political BS, war, and more, is a powerful machine that is literally destroying us. It’s taking the village, weakening it to the ground. The alternative interpretation and a favourite of ours, is one of unification. It takes all of us, regardless of political affiliation, race, gender, creed, whatever, to band together, to unite, so that together we can resist these forces and stand our ground. It will take the entire village, all of us together, to turn the tide."
The release of ‘It Takes The Village’ coincides with the start of a US tour with Fozzy.
