The Heir Apparition is a progressive/alternative rock band from Manchester, England formed in 2023. Previously known as Fates Hollow, the band rebranded in early 2025 after a line up change, with a renewed focus on the fiction their music is built around.

Their music chronicles the life of Elo Harrick, a young prince of a far off world, betrayed and murdered by those closest to him. Elo is reborn as The Heir Apparition, a vengeful creature neither living nor dead, hellbent on reclaiming his throne.

Combining an early 2000s alternative rock vibe with a progressive twist, each song plays out like a movie scene in  a larger picture waiting to unfold.

In June 2024, the band's debut single "The End of Summer" was featured in Prog Magazines track of the week and their first album Part I - Broken Crowns was released to critical acclaim on September 3rd. A remaster of that first album is due to be released on the one year anniversary.

As of early 2025, The Heir Apparition are deep in the writing process of their second album. The Heir Apparition is Reece Warburton, Adam Falkor, Jake Fenton and Saul Gerrard.
