PARADIS - FOREVER IN TIME

London-based five-piece modern metal outfit PARADIS have returned with their second EP, Forever In Time, released on Friday, June 20th, 2025. Known for their genre-blending sound and relentless drive for evolution, the band continues to push boundaries with this latest release.

PARADIS first turned heads with their self-titled debut EP in 2024, a powerful mix of crushing riffs and orchestral grandeur. Fast forward to 2025, and their sonic palette has deepened — embracing darker tones, cinematic synths, and intricate instrumentation, all tied together with soaring, arena-ready choruses that give their sound an unmistakable edge.

With Forever In Time, the band takes their craft even further. This four-track onslaught is pure, unfiltered chaos — a devastating blend of aggression, atmosphere, and emotion that cements PARADIS as one of the UK’s most exciting modern metal acts.

When we heard the EP, we were floored — so we reached out to the band for a track-by-track breakdown. True to form, PARADIS delivered. Here's what they had to say about each song on Forever In Time...

"We wrote the EP around the central theme of time and the different effects it can have on you, we all had a blast writing these four songs, incorporating elements from our first EP, and developing our sound further with some new surprises"

Track 1 - Ouroboros

"Ouroboros is about living in the now and the binds that we have forged together as a band, knowing that we are strongest together and we are in this for the long haul."

Track 2 - Terraform

"Terraform explores how time can change the environment around you, how everything can feel like it's crashing down but things can change for the better after going through hell."

Track 3 - Void

"Void is a rager of a track all about regret and getting older, wishing things could have gone differently, which is a very unhealthy mindset, but cathartic to get out there."

Track 4 - The End

"The End was ironically the first track we wrote for this EP, the song is about the knowledge that we will all die eventually, but the fact remains that we live on in the memory that friends and family have of us."

Novacaine Rating: 10/10

"Paradis are back—and sounding bigger, bolder, and more refined than ever. When we reviewed their self-titled debut EP last year, we said it felt like they had just “unleashed a doomsday device”—a statement we still stand by. But with their new EP, they've shown remarkable growth in a surprisingly short amount of time.

Take the track Ouroboros, for example: it’s more structured and deliberate than their earlier work, yet it retains that same dramatic, orchestral intensity that first caught our attention. Rather than reinventing themselves, Paradis have built confidently on their foundation—expanding their sound without losing the raw power that made them stand out in the first place."

"This is a band we would love to see at a future Novacaine Festival" - Scott O'Shea
