The Five Hundred are a heavy metal band hailing from Nottingham, England. Formed in 2014, the band’s original lineup features John Eley on vocals, guitarists Mark Byrne and Paul Doughty, Andy Crawford on bass, and Kelsey James behind the drums.

Emerging in the early 2010s, The Five Hundred quickly carved out a reputation as a formidable force in the UK metal scene. Fusing the unrelenting power of metalcore with the technical precision of djent and the complexity of progressive metal, their sound is both brutal and sophisticated.

Their electrifying live shows are a testament to that same intensity and creativity—one of the many reasons they're headlining Novacaine Festival 2025!
