Tallboy - House of Glass

Fast rising UK riff slingers, TALLBOY, continue their swift incline with the release of their debut EP, House of Glass, which arrives on Friday 25th July. The northern alt-metallers have also dropped a spanking new single and video, Insomnia.

Formed in Cumbria, England, TALLBOY are quickly amassing a reputation for serving up colossal riffs, emotive vocals, and infectious earworms. The quintet’s live shows are also much revered and are as unrelenting as they are energetic. TALLBOY are inserting fresh excitement and dynamism into the alternative metal scene, and in nodding to their influences but also introducing a forthright, original sharp edge to their sound, TALLBOY will lead the line as the band charge forward into new territories.

Earlier this year, the formidable quintet released their ultra-hooky single, Name & Shame, which has helped with growing their base and expanding their profile. The track garnered the support of national radio, and the video picked up widespread plaudits and support from a slew of tastemakers. The stage is now set for TALLBOY to kick on even further, and the band are loaded up with their breath-taking debut EP, House of Glass. The record is blessed with a barrage of intense riffs that entwine with haunting vulnerability and raw emotion and its gripping hooks and powerful energy mark TALLBOY as a bold new force in British heavy music.

Novacaine Rating (House of Glass EP):

House of Glass isn’t just worth a listen—it demands one."
