"It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of metalcore and nu-metal, so you might be wondering: Why is this guy talking about Tom Hewitt? Fair question. While my heart lies in heavy riffs and breakdowns, my musical tastes do branch out—especially when I come across artists with a unique sound and genuine passion. Think Morcheeba, Jamiroquai, or even Imagine Dragons. It’s that same raw creativity and emotional depth that drew me to Tom Hewitt.
His track “Colour Box” kicks off with a catchy, textured instrumental that instantly pulls you in. From there, it flows into soft, beautifully delivered vocals before swelling into something far more powerful and emotionally charged. You can feel the intensity in his voice—a kind of honest vulnerability that’s rare and captivating.
If Tom continues down this path and grows in confidence and exposure, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him emerge as one of the UK’s next big names. Talent like his is hard to ignore, even for someone whose playlists are usually packed with double kicks and guttural screams."
