UK Rock Act, Twin Skeletons, released their latest single 'What You Wanted' on 1st December 2023.

Novacaine is proud to introduce the insane talents of Twin Skeletons, a rock act heiling from Bath/Bristol. The 5 Piece recently released their new single 'What You Wanted' which absolutely blew me away upon my first listen. The new single is a follow up from their succesful debut single 'Deadweight' on 22nd September 2023, the band has since featured on BBC Radio 1 Introducing and multiple other media/radio outlets.
The bands sound is unique but yet takes you back to the old days of Paramore with a twist of modern day Bring Me The Horizon, and no its not just because the band is female led, this is something they themselves have said are one of their influences, but despite these influences, these guys have created their own unique stand in the music industry and I am shocked that they have not been picked up by bigger media outlets.
These guys have true potential to become extremely succesful and I can see them performing alongside the likes BMTH, I Prevail and As Everything Unfolds. Just by hearing this one single, they have already made it in as one of my favourite artists of 2023, which admitedly is quite a long list which will make choosing winners for out top 2023 releases even harder, but these are Twin Skeletons a contender.
Twin Skeletons, amongst other bands that have released music this year, have proven that there is still more talent & unique sound to be discovered in the world of music.

TWIN SKELETONS are a four piece female led Skeleton Rock Band from Bath/Bristol. After hugely successful debut single ‘DEADWEIGHT’ and the DEADWEIGHT TOUR, the band are coming through and keeping the momentum with their second single ‘WHAT YOU WANTED’. The second single carries the energetic nature on from DEADWEIGHT, featuring catchy riffs with explosive choruses and heavy breakdowns.
It tells a story of the guilt that follows an individual’s manipulation, but all the while knowing it’s an endless cycle that will happen over and over again. “I’ll watch you falling apart so quickly if you let me” acknowledges the self hatred of knowing that you never changedespite all the promises you make.
The Group find themselves at a good head start already, already being backed by BBC Radio 1s very own Nels Hylton as his ‘Future flavour’, making it onto editorial playlists such as ‘The Punk List’, ‘Emo Rock Anthems’, ‘New Rock’, ‘Nels Hyltons New Threads’ & BBC Introducing ‘Honor Morrisons New Indie’. This Success carried its own throughout the bands first Tour; consisting of 10 dates across the UK including places such as London, Birmingham and Bath.
Novacaine Rating: 10/10
'Twin Skeletons are ready to show what their bones are truly made of, 'What You Wanted' is a belter, and you'd be stupid to not give it a chance!' - Novacaine
