Bad Valentines are a Helsinki based band that owe a few pints to the arena-stomping

glamsters and punk rock purveyors of the 1970's as well as the giants of 1960's pop.

Defiant and uncompromising, they've concocted a potent brew of life, love and grit that

conveys perfectly the sign of these times.

Most members of Bad Valentines are veterans of the Finnish indie and underground

music scene and have previously made names for themselves in acts including Daggerplay

and Plastic Tears. Kicking up the dust is the energetic newcomer vocalist Hon.

The new, "Memory Tattoos", which band recorded with producers Petri Majuri

(Franz Ferdinand, Michael Monroe, Hanoi Rocks, Havana Black etc.) and Sammy Aaltonen

(Andy McCoy, Private Line etc.) released April 25th, 2025!

The band remarked on the release:

"The whole process of making Memory Tattoos went very smoothly. We had the pleasure working with two top producers, Petri Majuri (Michael Monroe, Hanoi Rocks, Franz Ferdinand etc.) and Sammy Aaltonen (Andy McCoy Band, Private Line). Both of the guys were very encouraging and understood what our music and lyrics are about. We are very pleased with the outcome."

‘Memory Tattoos’ marks the band's debut EP and features four tracks, including the

previously released singles "Mariia" and "Last Days In The Sun". The EP's two brand

new songs offer listeners an even deeper dive into Bad Valentines' signature melodic and energetic indie-rock sound.
