The Five Hundred

The Five Hundred are back with their powerful new single, "In The Dark," dropping on Friday, September 13th.

Building on the momentum of their previous release, "Dragged Out" featuring As Everything Unfolds' vocalist Charlie Rolfe, the band further refines their evolving sound. This latest track showcases a powerful blend of pristine vocals and melodic elements, while still delivering the intense, soul-crushing heaviness that fans have come to adore.

The Five Hundred have clearly been honing their craft behind the scenes, marking a bold new chapter in their evolution. Their willingness to experiment and explore new musical directions is evident, and I’m fully on board with their innovative approach.

"In The Dark" has swiftly become my favorite single from the band, surpassing even "Black Dogs" from 2021. If they continue to deliver tracks as compelling as "Dragged Out" and "In The Dark," they're set to become a staple on my playlist. They’re already vying with my long-time favourite, I Prevail, for top spot, and that’s no small feat

Novacaine Rating: 10/10 "The Five Hundred are honing their craft with precision, ushering in a bold new chapter in their evolution. They’re clearly poised to unveil their true potential and showcase what they’re really made of."

Spoilers: Exciting news is on the horizon! We’re thrilled to share that something amazing involving The Five Hundred will be revealed very soon. Stay tuned!
